One of my most recent projects was to grab photo and video content for Cascadia Vehicle Tents, and it gave us the opportunity to try camping in a rooftop tent.

We fit the Mt. Hood Tent on the Crosstrek, and headed out to find the perfect site to set up camp and a photoshoot. Nestled in the heart of bear country, Nic and I show how our night went as we photograph the tent, fish the rivers, and eat a simple bear-friendly dinner.

While it was short and sweet , we had an interesting overnight camp experience that ended with one less Birkenstock, plenty of photos and a sunset-lit PB and J.
