Hello and welcome back to the latest installment of the NACFORADVENTURE YouTube.

Today’s video is named after Nic’s dad’s (aka Dominic) wise words “That’s why it’s called fishing, not catching”, which was the mantra for our Idaho fly fishing day trip. Dominic took us out on his fishing boat, and we spent the day out in the beautiful spring weather casting lines, snapping pictures, enjoying the scenery, and (hopefully) catching some fish.

As someone that has never really been into fishing, I finally see the appeal and wonder of being out on the water, but also the extreme mastery that these fishers have when it comes to reading the environment and circumstances. So sit back in the boat, and enjoy the ups and downs of fly fishing.
