Happy spooky season, and welcome to the latest installment of the NACFORADVENTURE YouTube Channel.
Today, we venture away from , well, ADVENTURE, and look into my Poison Ivy Halloween costume, which is made from repurposed fabric.
To start out, I scoured the local thrift stores and Poshmark to find some secondhand items that I could repurpose into a cosplay of one of my favorite Batman villians.
I found a secondhand corset, as well as a green shimmery shirt and a dark green velevty skirt in order to put together my costume.
It was definitely a project where I figured it out as I went, and overall, I was very happy with the results. The costume has some quirks, but I had a blast creating a new life for clothing items that may have been just tossed out.
And the best part? I will absolutely be including the corset into more costumes in the future.
