This past weekend had some huge milestones for my budding fly fishing career!
We headed to the Uintas to escape the Salt Lake City valley heat, and got to meet up with some of our friends, fish a beautiful alpine lake, practice casts, and may have even been able to catch a fish or two.
Huge thanks to Nic for having patience to not only fish, but to teach me (and the YouTube viewers) some tips for casting and advice on what to do when a fish gets hooked.
We notice how the weather patterns affect how the fish are eating, as well as what they were eating in order to properly tie our flies and get the fish into our net.
Enjoy a fun full day of hanging out up in the Uintas:
Your nacforadventurer and gal who has now caught a fish!
