Fall is literally known for trees’ leaves falling and dying so that they can hibernate for the winter… but it has so much more to offer. The whole season is the feeling of waking early up while camping to brisk morning air, yet it’s cozy and full of wildly different activities and attributes. Let’s take a look at the things that make fall the best season:
Wearing sweaters without sweating
Fall farmers’ markets goods like squashes and potatoes

Beanies
Bundling up with endless scarves and jackets
No more mosquitos
Cozying up on the couch under a blanket

Those crisp sunny autumn days where you can take a walk without breaking a sweat
Turning off the AC and turning on the fireplace
Corn mazes
Scary movies
More beanies

Contrast of the yellow, orange and red leaves against gray skies
Pumpkin spice
Pumpkin cookies
Pumpkin carving
Then cooking pumpkin seeds
Being able to work out outside right when you get off at 5 and not get overheated
Hot springs

Laying weird different clothes and making it look fall-y
Boots on boots on boots
Sunday Night Football

Oktoberfest
Muted yellow/oranges colors everywhere
Binge-watching Harry Potter movies
Rainy day drives
Wearing tall wool socks
Haunted houses

Being able to dress up in costumes
Getting dark by 7, so you don’t feel bad being in bed by 8
Halloween
Rocky Horror Picture Show
Saturday Night Live Halloween skits
Soups and stews in the Crockpot
Hot apple cider with Fireball
Thanksgiving
Green bean casserole

Get-togethers with family and friends
The first snow fall
Realizing that it means that skiing is right around the corner….

Til my next favorite season,
AJ
