Let’s take some laps on the biggest skis in my quiver.
In the winter of 2024, I demoed some Liberty Genomes just because I was so impressed at the uniqueness of this ski. These skis measure in at 141 mm at the waist, 157 mm at the tail, and 170 at the tip. Despite demoing them on a hard pack groomer day, I had so much fun, and I was curious how’d they would perform on a proper pow day.
Luckily, that day came in the midst of winter 2025, and I had an absolute blast ripping around Solitude Mountain on a monumentous snow day of the season. I got surfy in some pow, plowed through soft chop, and even hit some features as we bopped all around the resort.
A week or so later, I decided to take these monster skis on some groomer laps and park jumps just for the fun of it.
